Have fun, but on your own risk! At last, this thread has the prominence it deserves. I don't like to ask this but I will. I've searched the old thread and haven't found what I'm looking for although I'm sure it's there somewhere. I have access to a brand new iPAQ 214 and would like to extract the ROM with a view to flashing it to a corrupted iPAQ. I'm hoping there's a chance that this will resurrect the broken one. How do I do this?
Most importantly, can I extract the ROM without any risk to the new iPAQ? Any help would be appreciated. I'm not new to Windows Mobile but the whole business of ROM cooking and flashing confuses me.
